Enjoy a full and informative look at birds of prey and the world of falconry. Our course in flying raptors covers:

• How we train our birds - from scratch to taking them into the Cheshire countryside and flying them free
• Learning how to handle a raptor correctly
• Weighing the bird and finding out how important this is for flight and fitness
• Training the bird to fly to the glove
• Finally flying the birds free on the Cheshire plains to see how the raptor works alongside man to catch their prey.

The flying course consists of a full weekend.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. B&B available. There is a maximum of 4 people on each course.
